Internet Explorer 8 in the works

Considering how long Internet Explorer 6 was being used before Internet Explorer 7 was released, it’s revealing that Microsoft is developing Internet Explorer 8 at such a fast pace. Microsoft had dropped several hints regarding this new internet browser and what really attracts us is the new platform by Microsoft called Silverlight.

It is a set of tools used for developing rich flash-like web applications and even more RSS, CSS, and AJAX support. There are no specific details available as they are still keeping a tight hush over it. It will be at least another year before Internet Explorer 8 will be available and do expect them to roll out patches for bugs and flaws in Internet Explorer 7.
