The FCC site is always a good place to look out for new hardware/gadget releases. Looks like Fujitsu is likely to release some new Santa Rosa notebooks in the USA soon and here’s the scoop. It gets an upgrade to Core 2 Duo T7700 2.4 GHz chips and a 15.4 inch WUXGA/WSXGA or WXGA LCD display but what is missing will be the latest Wi Fi chip from Intel, 4965AGN as it sports the older 3945ABG wireless LAN module.
Looking at what the FCC site has to say, this will be one of the high end notebooks from Fujitsu which will be aimed at high end users. If we are to guess, pricing would probably be around $2,500. For everything to be confirmed, we will just have to wait for its launch as a date has yet to be announced.
