iTunes LogoJust as we expected last week, Paul McCartney is now available in iTunes. Starting today you are able to pre-order his new album titled “Memory Almost Full”. With the pre-order you will get the new single “Ever Present Past” immediately and the video for “Dance Tonight” when the album is released on June 5th. Later this month all of Paul McCartney’s 25 solo albums will be available.

“Paul McCartney is one of the greatest musicians of all time, and we’re extremely excited to offer his first digitally distributed album on iTunes,” said Steve Jobs, Apple’s CEO.

While I already have a lot of the previous solo albums I still thinking this is a good step to get his music heard by some new ears. I became a Beatles fan when I first listened to my parents LP’s at around 4 or 5 years of age. Maybe a new generation of Beatles (Paul McCartney) fans can be born in a similar fashion with the digital versions.
