It seems Microsoft is not very open to users modding their xBox 360. I guess its not surprising, but it would be nice if they would let you make the hardware work the way you want it to. So fair warning to anyone who currently has a modded xBox 360, you better not connect it to xBox Live or your xBox will become dead. Well maybe dead is a bit harsh, but they will ban you from logging in.
The reported error code is “Status Code: Z 8015 – 190D” and according to reports your account is not being canceled, its just the unit itself being banned from Live. I am guessing they either want to keep getting your money or maybe they will reverse it at sometime in the future.
