For many people on the go, a Bluetooth (BT) headset is probably one of the most important gadgets in their daily lives. The convenience of not needing to reach out into your pocket every time a call comes in and the “coolness” factor of it will make it a must-have for most young executives.
And yet, there are some who don’t have a Bluetooth headset as part of their arsenal, for varying reasons (fear of unseen-wireless-waves-near-the-brain come into mind straight away), there could be a lot of missed calls as a result of not being able to hear the phone ringing or vibrating, especially when one is outside and in a rush to get somewhere.
Well, here’s a product by BQ Wireless to help out: the BlueQ Bluetooth Wristband. It’s a vibrating item for your wrist, with 2 buttons on it. When a call comes in, it will vibrate, and you can hit the Transfer button to transfer the call to your cell phone. At about $39 a pop, it will be cheaper than most good quality BT headsets, and you can even upload your favorite image to use as a template for it. It’s going to be placed on the wrist, so for those of you with a unseen-wireless-waves- near-the-brain syndrome, you won’t have to worry too much, unless you somehow also have a unseen-wireless-waves-near-my-body syndrome, then I don’t think you’ll have a cell phone in the first place to worry about this kind of issue.

This sort of thing could have a lot of possible applications. While the sample wrist band above isn't my cup of tea, it could easily be put into a nice looking watch to make it more functional. I have a bluetooth headset like every good mobile geek, but I never wear it unless I'm on a call. People look silly walking around with them on and not actually talking into them.
