Palm CEO: Foleo better suited to mobile computing than current laptops

In a 3-minute interview at the D: All Things Digital conference, Palm CEO Ed Colligan tells The Wall Street Journal’s Don Clark that the newly launched Foleo is a “mobile companion” designed “almost like a PDA but still doing robust computing applications,” that its architecture makes Foleo better suited to mobile computing than current laptops that increasingly serve as desktops, and agrees that this marks “the third big act” for Palm after the Treo and their initial handheld computer.
