Verizon FiOS LogoWith our “tubes” (sorry, couldn’t resist) getting bigger each day, the more content we can stuff through them, or in this case, the faster we can push high-quality content. Verizon recently announced they were testing HD VOD in their labs, and have internal date for the service’s launch.

If you’re in one of the areas that receives FTTP (Fiber to the premises), you’re in luck, because when/if Verizon finally decided to roll-out HD VOD, you’ll be the first to get it. But if you’re like most of us, you’re not as lucky and will have to wait awhile. With Verizon’s competition already offering a similar service in select areas, it makes you wonder what Verizon is waiting for, perhaps christmas, or pigs to fly?
