music, videos and pictures! I might even get around to organizing my data.
I would back up all of my photos, music, and documents of course, but I also record, edit and copy music for a dance studio and there have been time when I have lost my data on my computer, so this would be very good item to have!!!
It looks a neat external device. I assume that this device contains a fan inside to keep the hard disk cool and perhaps a little faster. I may think that a flash pen is not that great because I read some posts that they complaint about the speed. I don't care about the speed as long as the device that provide us for something like a backup or carry with it to show our friends to look at the photos or documents using the Seagate product.
If I win this prize, I wanted to thank you for letting me to have it. I have a Seagate internal hard disk on my computer, and I never have a problem with it.
Thanks again.
I would give it to my teenage son. Do teenagers ever have enough of anything??
Back up EVERYTHING!
Wow. That would hold every geeky T.V. show fan-vid I could ever put to music.

Will Backup data files and software Programs which are licensed to me.
I would also store my photo which I take from my camera.
I would store the thousands of photos I take as an photography enthusiast. Most of my files are in RAW form and quite large.
This would be perfect for all my photos and videos.
I'd store all my photos!
I'm a pretty avid photographer taking several hundred photos in a typical month – thousands in a peak month which I would love to be able to share via the Internet with my own private server as well as have a safety net in case my internal drives fail. I shoot pictures for my 44 club, my temple, and occasional weddings so I'm always getting hit up for pictures.
I would put all my great computer games on it so I can go and play anywhere!
We have eight children all over the country which we don't get to see to often. I would keep pictures of my children and grandchildren on it to enjoy anytime we wanted to.
use it as backup storage for photos
Anything I want to do!!
I would store my genealogy materials, photographs, and electronic scrapbooks.
I will use the massive 750 Gigs to backup my extensive music collection, as well as a number of other important documents, especially as my 5 year old computer is having tons of trouble. I would also use the remote access feature or just bring the entire thing in so that I can listen to my music at work, which would keep me from overhearing the 2 obnoxious people that talk all day and are on the other side of my cubicle walls. i think i should get it just because I sit in a cubicle all day. I would also use it as a place to store all of the funny/stupid photos i run into when searching the internet.
I would store all my family photos and important documents.
I'm a scrapbooker, so I have lots of pictures and I am beginning to learn digital scrapbooking so I have lots of digital kits and embellishments. It's really easy for me to load up my hard drive with all of the stuff scrapbooking requires. I would use it to store all my digital work and back ups of my pictures and music files.
I would use it for backing up all my pictures and music
With 750GB of storage, I would have plenty of space to store all of my media files, as well as my software used to edit my digital files. I would also use the space to make sure my computer is backed-up at all times!
If I were to be the lucky recipient of the Seagate FreeAgent Pro 750 GB drive, I would bring peace and prosperity to the world…. well, my world anyway.
Peace (of mind) would be achieved because I would be able to back up disk images, media content and important data to a drive separate from my main computer protecting them from a catastrophic failure of my computer.
Prosperity would result from the time I would save by not having to hunt through my backup disks to find the file I need when I need it. The file would be right there, easily accessible to the computer where it belongs.
I would back up my hard drive. It would be great for saving my pictures and music and some of my daughters' digital artwork.
I would download a lot of tv shows and movies to watch on my computer anytime – and store all my picture collections, and still have plenty of space left over for games!
Be able to put all my kids' photos on one drive!
i'd store all the family photos
i'd have room for all the pictures

I would finally be able to put all my pictures on the same drive. Thanks for the contest.
music, music videos, pics, and routine backups
I would donate it to our school district.
I am a film student, and my computer is running out of room due to all of the videos i edit on my computer, so this HD would give so much more room and give me space I need to complete my projects.
My laptop drive is getting a beat down, so this drive would be able to save the day. It's either my music or my work – and I don't think I can make it living on the street.
I would add additional software to my computer; I would keep pictures on my computer; I would add games to my computer and movies
I would store home movies on it.
IL
750GB? I'd find something really innovative to do with it. Set something on fire, take some photos, make some videos, launch a viral 'hard-drive on fire' campaign.
Unless you wouldn't want the hard-drive on fire, in which case I could simply store my over-large music collection on it.
I'd likely fill it up with lots and lots of movies ,photos and music!
I would back up and store all the photos and music that my son and daughter have stored on my computer.
I would give it to my husband so he could back up all the music, pictures, and data stored on our home computer.
I would use it to store my family photos, genealogy documents, and other data.
I need to buy a new laptop so this would be perfect to backup all of my files!!
Finally have enough space to digitize 1,000s of Family photos dating back to the late 1800s and compile a digital image-based family tree … As the keeper of generations of irreplaceable memoriabilia and photos from Germany to Ellis Island to Pennsylvania and beyond, I'm the "one" in the family who cares and has collected, maintained and stored the boxes and boxes of photos and keepsakes … and of course, Back-up my Back-ups of my Back-ups! Thanks for the opportunity to win this much needed storage.
I would back up all my stuff and my friends. I would only charge them a "thank you".
Download music like there's no tomorrow!
I dabble in lots of things and I need a place to backup my Powerbook, store video files, music, personal movies, Id also like to have a large external to keep my software projects saved on while Im working on them.
MORE MUSIC & MORE PHOTOS ! YEAH!!
My son needs it in Iraq to store movies, videos ad photos.
I'd install multiple operating systems on it (flavors of Linux, BSD, and Windows – have to fiddle with it but it does work) for fun with penetration testing!
It would allow me to do more backups of my huge music collection.
As an aspiring 3D animator, I use lots of storage space for my Lightwave scenes, models, textures and final renders. This would come in mighty handy!
I'm a college student and have a ton of files on my computer and would love to have some extra space to store all of my stuff.
Media fest baby!!!!!!!
Use it at work as a shared backup source that all of our engineers could use.
Store media. Mainly photos, music and movies.

I would replace/ expand the 20GB HDD in my desktop dell =D
I would sleep with it in my bed and night and cuddle it tightly.
pics to store
It's not really about the 750GB of storage. I have more data then that. I would use this to put my important files on it so I could access them anywhere. Right now I carry an external drive with me. I am always staying at different places and it makes it hard for me to know if I have all my data. From the seagate website: "Access your content from anywhere, share it with anyone and sync it to almost anything." That's why I want it. Help me out Gadgetell!!

I travel all over the world for a not-for-profit.org and this would be idea for me to store all the photos, videos, and scans of graphics I have collected.
Download favorite movies.
Movies! Music! Thousands of pics of my granddaughters!
Having just gone through a hard drive crash, I am extremely sensitive to the need for an external hard drive that is big enough to backup everything I need to. The external drive I have was too small to backup everything, and consequently I lost a lot of
data and photos that I had painstakingly collected over the years. A 750 GB hard drive would be an absolute joy to have to prevent this sort of heartbreak from happening again.
TRANSFER ALL MY VIDEO TO MY HOME NETWORK
I would consolidate all my music, videos, photos, essays and book drafts. And I also have DJ experience and would love to convert my vinyl and CD collection into one safe place.
Thanks for the amazing contest!
cool
This would make it super easy for me to backup my information/hard drive
More space to store my porn

Wikipedia. The entire thing.
I would back up my hard drive -and- my back up drive!
Oh please! Speed and storage! Movies! Music! Photos! Programs! Games!
PICTURES AND MUSIC
I would use it to backup my documents on my iBook.
I would use it to store all of the things that the goverment has NOT done,
I would use it to store all of the things that the goverment has NOT done,
to make this a better country.
I could backup all of my music and photos. I could even store videos on the hard drive.
I'm a photographer…. exactly what I need to store my photos.
I would throw out my Windows Home Server (literally) and store everything on this. It saves space, electricity and is significantly bigger than the 500GB WHS I have now.
wow!!
750 GB of storage thats alot but still not enough for others. in my point of view what i would personally do it stuff all my movies, music, pictures etc and wire the entire household to be able access this storage space so all could use it no matter which room you are in. now watching movies doesnt necessarily have to interupt music listeners or slide shows. not to exclude work files which can be edited anytime anyday of course within my household.
it would certainly be nice to have one.
I am almost out of room in my macbook. The purpose of my macbook is to keep all of my website/blog data separate from my PC stuff, that is always crashing (thanks Bill!). I also run my sister's business site from there. It would be nice, seeing that I'm disabled & on a fixed income to be safe, secure, & be able to take my 7 year old son out to eat all the same month!
I would backup all of my digital photos that are scattered around 3 other machines.
i would use all of it!
It would be great to use the FreeAgent Pro to back up my photos, both my 250GB drives that are almost filled to capacity. This drive will help me tremendously, I won't need to carry two external drives to work anymore, and this will eliminate that hassle. It will also help me share files between three home computers. The FreeAgent Pro will also help my work on the road, by freeing a whole bunch of space on my laptop. Surprisingly enough I’ll only have about 5OGB free.
I would use this hard drive to store the music files I'm creating through Pro Tools.
Well its a stretch but that storage space would be helpful to have because I'm a musician. My band and I would actually need some more space to store our good songs and our crappy songs.
I would use it to store my entire collection of old dos/win95 pc games.
Finally a place for all my photos.
I would like to say something really tech swift, but all I can do is save files and photos. Thanks for the contest.
I would store, pictures movies and music.
lease it out to people who want to back up.
I am a documentary photographer so I would place my 2 current ongoing projects which consists of over 1000 images onto storage with this amount of space.
I was just thinking about buying one to back up all my music files and other data and keep things safely stored at another location.
with 750 gb there is quite a lot of things i could do….. but mostly what i would do is to share it on my wireless lan and play movies on my tv through a wifi HD player (which i am yet to invest on, so is the wireless lan i guess) but if your collection of movies can all be in one place instead of having those long and tall racks of dvds and having to choose a movie before you sit down is all a tiring businness….. to have choices at your finger tips is the way to entertainment…. the whole reason why the mp3 players have become so popular….. music dint get any cheaper did it????
Never have to worry about storage again.
Back up my entire DVD collection
PLAY WOW
I would donate it to French Bulldog Rescue.org to back up all of the orgs. records. Seems that they don't have a backup system as they are a non-profit and can't afford it. They had a number of recent hard drive crashes and have lost critical information more than once.
That's why I would donate the piece to them.
Lyle
Having been active with computers since the days of the color computer (way back) and now 73 years old, there are many stories, photo's, movies and memories of a lifetime to record for family posterity. It would be a keepsake for future years that would never fade.
Plug it in to server rack and use it for code branches and extra storage.
I am developing a cross platform remote mirroring driver. Having this drive will be useful for my research.
I would stop deleting all the movies and music I download and finally have the media PC storage I need.
if I had that much drive space I'd start data mining for my company.
I'd store all the movies I wanted.
store my porn… i mean family photos
I'd store the files of my video editing projects to save dwindling shelf space. Illmas' idea is also brilliant. Might have to invest in two, then.
To back up everyones flash drives and computers
I'm a pro photographer, and since going all digital in '04, we can NEVER have enough storage for photo files! I have a file drawer filled with 40/80 external drives from the last few years – so a single big 3/4 terrabyte drive would be HEAVEN to me…
I would store ALL my photos and music and back up everything.
I would back up all the computers in the house.
I would use it to hold all of my parents' home movies. They have a lot of old video that they have transfered to vhs from when we were kids, as well as cruise video, and I would use this to convert it so it was burnable on DVD. It would probably almost fill the drive
BACK UP MY FILES SO THEY ARE THERE IN CASE
I would store my ITunes music, movies and TV downloads; all my photos; and my ebooks.
store
I'd have room for an extra 750GB of stuff to stream to my Xbox 360…
Combination of a D80 and an extensive CD collection that goes into iTunes.
And, well, all my papers and documents since college and from work since (yah, tech pack rat).
Yah, I needed this last year.
I'll be able to store all of my photos and videography in one place!
I come from a huge family so all that room will let me keep all my photo's I take of them. Oh and I have a lot of music. Oh and I guess work stuff, internet stuff I save. Oh and the list goes on………
I would store all my important stuff the stuff that I should have been saving for years.
I would backup and store all my files and digital works.
I will finally be able to back up the entire internet for my very own use! ^_^
Videogames fully loaded
I would probably backup files on it. I generally don't do that. But, with this super-duper hard drive, I will start.
I would be able to store all my homemade movies of the events of my family and still have room for daily space needs.
I would store more movies and photos.
With all of that space I would be able to store my photos.
I would use it to backup/clone my Mac in preparation for Leopard!!
I would use it to down all of my movies too, so I could watch them in my theater.
My that's a fancy one! My son likes cinnamon toast, and I'd make poptarts for the grandkids when they come over to visit. I like english muffins in the morning but I like them "well done", I hope it has the "done-ness" adjustment that the other toasters I've used have. "Hard drive"? Does that mean it does hard rolls too?
ARCHIVE FILES!
Honestly I need the cash more, so I would sell it on ebay for $300.
Back up my photos, music, iDVDs and iMovies.
Back up my photos, music, iDVDs and iMovies.
BACKUP THE WHOLE INTERNET…
Guess i'll have to zip it a bit xD
I'm a computer nerd. If there is space I will manage to fill it.
Last week my hard drive in my Mac crashed, and half of my life was lost! My photos, my films, my music, all gone! I was just thinking that week about backing up…so with this hard drive, I would back up my new Mac once a week, ever week. It's just unfortunate I have to start over, and I will be missing looking at old photos of my friends that are gone forever.
If I had it, I would become serious about photography. Thanks.
I'd use it to build a database of all the family pictures – not just a photo dump, but a FileMaker database with fields to identify the subjects and date. We have at least 5 or 6 generations of photos, some from the 19th century, and there are few family members left who know who/what the oldest ones are. Some of us know the names, but not the faces. And the two latest generations barely know the names.
I'd scan all the images and then attach it to a server and invite the family to fill in the details on any picture they recognize.
This is one nice gadget.
I would use it for all my backup needs, (3 pc's and a laptop) plus I would finally be able to use that huge Photoshop program my hubby bought me for Christmas! I have about a gazillion cd's of picture files I've burned that I could get all together in one place–that alone would be a godsend.
I would start a photo album and copy it for allmy family memebers
It would hold an awful lot of music…
i dont really know what this is for but i would find out and it would be used to its fullest extent
Back up my iPod
i have so many cd's, i hope this will be enough space
back up all my favorite TV shows
My husband has a new digital camera and he takes LOTS of pictures. This would be a great place to put all those pictures!!

WOuld love one to free up my hard drive and load it with my large photo files and music files. Thanks
I would backup all the pr0n I've downloaded from torrent.
I have no idea but I have about, I have close to 100 GB's used right now just for music and images so I guess I would save even more.
Download all of my old albums, yes, I still have them
I would store my music and computer games on it, The sims is my favorite game. And I would also use it for business.
kitchen sink it has room for all my needs.
store a vast array of genealogy research about my family
Well, every time I upgrade my computer, I put the old harddrives in the new computer, to make sure I don't lose any of my collected data (some of it I've had since 1996…like DOOM .WADs). Anyway, I now have 6 harddrives in my main computer, and my collection keeps growing. It would be nice to have one drive large enough to dump all my data into, so I could keep what I need, and get my computer running a bit cooler and faster.
WHAT A NICE UPGRADE TO STORE PICTURES AND MUSIC. THIS WOULD HELP SO MUCH.
i want to build a romanian documents database to share it online with all my coleagues from school and from other schools.like a romanian school library. the documents will contain a mass colection of books we all needed/need/will need at school for various classes.so everybody should not look for days and hours for a damn book, for a damn essay..so all things will get easyer..and get faster acces to information.(in romania is not as fast as in other countries).if you choose us i hope you cand deliver to romania. we can gather all and pay the mailing taxes

As a videographer this would make my job better by storing my videos.
Movies, Movies, Movies
Back up all my home photos and movies first. Then if there was still room left over, all my work stuff. And then maybe my husbands files too…
I might NEVER have to delete anything!!!
Thanks
Aiii… i forgot something…
The man problem i have is that i always have to switch between my 4 HDD because I've only 2 SATA Ports. That isn't realy good for my Back. I guess i'm only one step away from my first Spinal disc herniation.

I would store my movies on it.
lots of music.i could finally fit all my music on my system
Back up, back up, back up!
I have about 20 album's worth of photos from that need to be copied and saved! Oh, and also a very large music collection!
Put my music collection, photo collection and video collection on the 1st third. The 2nd and 3rd third would be for future growth.
Backup family photo’s
Store all my movies
I am building a dashboard mounted computer into my vehicle. I would load every map available and go cross country the way they did before interstate highways. Get my kicks..
I would use it to feed my overly large appetite for storage space. Videos pictures and software have already used up hundreds of gigabytes on my computer.
I would use it to down all of my movies too, so I could watch them in my theater..
lots of music
tons of photos
and GAMES galore
I would use it for full back-up on my Raid0 based system.
I will store photos, music, documents, and videos.
Save a tree by making paperless copies of tax returns, financial statements, etc.
thanks a million
download lots of photos!!
As A Professional Photographer, the extra space would be very welcome addition.
I would move all our music and photography files onto it. And, with all the space that was left, I'd install a new pool table
I do a lot of video editing, and storage is a big factor. Current;y, i have 3 internal drives, a sata 250, sata 200, and a sata 120. Externally, I have a firewire 120, firewire 320, and a firewire 500. Aside from that, numberous flash drives that I don't even want to add up. In total, I have 1500 gb of storage(ALL SEAGATE DRIVES, MIGHT I ADD – BEST WARRANTY AROUND!!) and I still need more room. That's why the 750gb sounds great to me.
At the rate I'm going – fill it in 2 years.
We'd have a great place for all of our photos and website information!!
Backup family photo's
Backup my computer
As a huge gamer, I would put on more PC games. Thanks for the contest!!!
back up my data daily!
I'd scan all of the old photos that my mom has filling up photo albums around the house, to preserve the memories for all of her grandkids.
I would store pictures, music and anything else i could find. This would be awesome!!
back up all my stuff
Four kids, four iPods….lots of music and pictures in this house to be backed up/stored.
I would convert all of CDs to mp3 audio then install all of the necessary software and stream music all over the house.
Photos, backups, movies, backups, music, backups!
I would use this to backup all of my photos and music. I'd die without either!
i'll be honest, i'll do what everyone will do, backup porn.
I would store all my photos and family videos finally!
I would use it to store my massive collection of photographs.
Neat prize.
It would store all of my husbands comedy.
I would fill it full of useful tidbits
I'm a musician/guitarist. For the past couple of years I've wanted to be able to record my own music in the privacy of my own home. I've gone through four computers trying to find one with the capacity to handle music recording/production, and unfortunately they've all failed. I've wasted a lot of money on software, technicians, and repair, trying to fix the problem. All of them said that I needed a bigger hard drive. But unfortuately by this time, I'm just simply out of funds to pay for a new hard drive. So now I'm just sitting here with microphones, software, a computer incapable of running the software, speakers, and mixers, and they've all unfortuately just been collecting dust. This would really give me the start I need in my venture into recording music. Thanks.
We take a lot of photos. I'd love to get them off the harddrive, they are very large files.
WOW! I could backup ALL my music and my photos as well as everything ELSE including all my sweepstakes!!
Right now, I own 2 CD Stakkas filled with music CDs, soundtracks, movies, games, CAD files, photos, my websites' files, even my graphic or scanned art, and other files that won't fit in my crammed 150GB hard drive.
For now, all of my music is compressed and sounds horrible from their lack of information – even though I have pretty decent speakers. It would be great if I had more storage for the uncompressed versions of those files to bump up their overall quality for future use.
I've actually thought of saving up for a terabyte hard drive to store all this data instead of using over 300 CDs in my "Stakkas," which takes too much of my to organize and find the files I need.
I should've gotten a terabyte hard drive when I got my computer last year, because I probably wasted an extra $600 on my inneffeceint CD storage systems.
I knew Seagate was pretty good with hard drives, when I saw this ad, and figured it wouldn't hurt to enter. I mean, so long as I'm the lucky winner, I could save about $400 by just winning this Seagate FreeAgent Pro 750GB external hard drive with internet management!
As a former Disc Jockey and music collector, I have amassed an enormous collection of vinyl, tape, and CD's. I would convert it all to digital and finally be able to index and play at will!
Time Machine baby!
I would dedicate the hard drive to be filled with music
I have like thousands of family photos and i hate having them on my computer because every one uses it and screws it up so this would be awsome to put all my family photos and movies on
Back up hardrive, photos, music.
Edit my movies.
I am not exactly sure what I could do with this as I am a bit "computer challenged". However, I am the mother of three children who will be glad to help me out. Thanks!
Run free. Nothing to tie me down- like a small cave of darkness.
i would encode all my 200 or more dvd's to divx so i can get rid of all the space they take up, then i can take it anywhere and play them at my friends houses etc..
I'd back up all my music and data files. I'd also use it for my photos used in my ebay business.
use it as a NAS so that I can save data onto it from my desktop and laptop.
Back up all my digital photos & music
I could put all my photos, music and videos in one place. That would be fantastic.
Great use as a backup for my research data.
I need to back up all my music and data files on an aging machine.
BACK UP ALL THE FILES FROM A LAPTOP AND TWO DESKTOP COMPUTERS.
Use as a personal web server to store things on so i can access them from school and work.
With 750gb hard drive, obviously i don't have to keep buying DVD-R and internal hard drives. With this external 750gb hard drive i can carry it anywhere in the world including all the files.
I would back up the 3 computers I am currently using in my home. One of those has 2 300g hd for media center. This would be the perfect size!
I would back up my photos and mp3s, and finally get a good night's sleep because I wouldn't have to worry about losing them anymore!
I have been shoping for a external hard drive so I can store all my music and Photos
If I had the freeagent 750GB, I would re-archive all of my files that I am not able to access because my current 300GB external drive is incompatible with Windows Vista. When I win, the space will definitely put to good use…
I'd take all of my data with me, everywhere!
Movie captures!
rerip my cds to a lossless format, scan many more old family photos, take more new photos and play with Photoshop…
…and even let my husband backup some of his Linux ick (as long as it doesn't fester)
STORE, STORE AND STORE SOME MORE
well, i'll make my friends jealous with this cool hard drive. it would actually make me the data king among them, bcoz they all have almost less than 80 gb hdd personally.
I would finally get some current backup sets going!
I have a new digital camera and can't afford a new hard drive. This one sounds perfect.
Backup- Backup- Backup
I go to school and I need lots of space.
I have Several computers in my house. MOst of them have 2 or 3 Hard disks connected, because they are not big enough. With a 750GB i could get rid of 2 of them in each PC and save power. The power bill is high because the computers are on most of the time.
I need all that space because my hobbie is to edit video. I take lots of video and save it in DVD format for best quality, but that requires a lot of disk space.
Besides, back ups would be like heaven.
Dang…It would be great. I would put all the movies that are cramming up my 80 GB hard drive on it. I would put all my music on it. I would back up my computer and feel safer. I would store all my work documents and school documents. I would be extremely happy. I would also partition a section of it and put it on my house network so my family could use the space. I would also love Seagate even more.
Store tons of family photos – used as a home network system – load all my CD's for the home entertainment system.
i'd make backups of all my photos and videos
Computer would work right
I would save a whole lot more pictures, videos and music because I'd now have room to store them.
Great place for pictures.
great site
I would store video on this drive.
I have several large video projects in production at any given time. Currently, I have to switch out hard drives several times a day to complete projects. It would be GREAT to have the room on one drive to complete the work without being required to switch drives.
I'd take many more photos with my digital camera and save them all, never having to worry about hard drive space
i have all my pictures scanned into the computer plus all my old videotapes, and i need to keep them safe
With this much space I could save anything and everything! I can save all my business files, my movies, photos and anything else I can imagine. I would love this!!
Back up hard drives, and especially music and photo files.
As our family only have one computer, It would seriously help to extend the usage of our computer. I would be able to store all my legal documents, pictures, videos, home movies and not have to worry about losing these special documents or pictures during hurricane season or seasonal fires. I could just pick up one thing and have peace of mind, security, and family memories with me. I would love to have this type of security.
if I win I will go to disney
Back up my laptop's information.
Use for my downloaded and burning movies storage – imovies
Use it to store more things.
photos, photos & more photos
Lost my desk-top to water (broken pipe) in my house. Wish I had had this then. If I don't win it I will buy one. You can't replace the family photos when they are gone.
I take a lot of pics. of vacations and family events. Also, to do daily back-up of my other hard drives.
I would pwn nubs.
I would sell it and throw the money I make from it around the house singing, "I make it rain, I make it rain…" Then I would make a video of it and put it all over the web and rub it in in everyones face that I got a free totally useless device and then I would pee on my computer.
I would sell it and use the money to change my name to "Leet Pwnsauce."
I would use it to store tons of songs and pictures.
Oh man… I would take more videos… my tired hard drive now just cant handle any more…
Start doing full backup's
I would stop putting everything into my gmail
Store media
I would finally feel at ease about backing up everything to this drive.
put all my photos on back up cds in the safe! as a scrapbooker this is really important to keep them safe
I would rip some of my favorite movies onto it, so I could serve them up without having to worry about the original media.
I'd be able to load all my photo's onto my computer
I would save every stinking email from my micromanaging boss. And it still might not be enough.
I would store music, movies, photos, and whatever else is cluttering up my PC.
safe and secure backups
I would transfer some of the files because my hard drive is totally full.
750 GB? That should almost cover my DD's music collection. She hates to mess with CD's, so she puts them all on the computers.
I would give this to my favorite father-in-law…
I own a small enterprise and this drive would be used to store and back up all the documentation related to the business. I invision this device to be an digital archive.
Best regards,
Dainius
I'll use it in backing up my image sets of my research. this is really very important. Thanks
I have a relative in the digital photography business. This would be great for her photo storage.
I will back up my digital photos and manage all my best photo in one place only
This would put me in Terrabyte Country — Like Carrl Sagan billions and billions except it bytes! Somehow I alwas fill em up! Maybe make a jukebox for my 1500 cd collection (99.9999% classical and opera!)
My computer crashed recently and I went through several days of h*ll trying unsuccessfully to recover all of my pictures, videos, programs, and extensive music collection. I need an external hard drive badly, and I love and trust the Seagate brand.
Well, I'd probably split the time between hooking it up to my PC to cut down some of the mess I've been saving over the past couple of years & hooking it up to my DVR to extend its' available HD space – I seem to always run out of space after my wife & kids get done with saving their shows. Besides, Seagate has always been my top choice!
I would use it to store my music, pics and all my homemade videos I do for my family. Thanks for offering such a great prize!
I would put all my vids and pix of my 2 year old daughter on the drive so I don't lose them.
I would use it to store pictures and videos of my new grandson. I could also hold all of my music on there. My husband could also use it to store things he needs for work. Thanks for the contest!
I WILL HELP ALL THE HANDICAPED IN MY MOBILE HOME PARK.
My father has an extensive movievideo collection. I would install the whole experience on to this pretty cool piece of technology.
I've always used Seagate in the past so I am sure this would work really well
Cool!
Rock On!
Give me one!
I would use it for storage of my video, music and picture files… all of which are extensive. It would also be really good since I wouldn't have to burn files onto CDs for a really long time…
Store all my photos and videos.
With the monstrous space, I'd Ghost my computer's OS, back up my critical data files, store home video files (uncompressed AVI) and compressed music files I could access anywhere, and, uh, with the remaining hundreds of gigs…write a novel.
store all my music!
I would use it to store movies, music, pictures, backup everything, store business files…just about everything one uses a pc for!
thanks!
I would record all my LP's that are not available in digital format in wave format!
I would save all the CD's I have in wave format.
I deliver Meals on Wheels for my community. Most of the people on my route are elderly shut-ins, but all have important stories to tell.
The Seagate FreeAgent Pro 750GB Hard Drive can help gather this vital living history and safely store it for future generations.
I would record the voices, store the precious photographs, video tape the storytellers, scan their documents and otherwise gather the scattered wisps of memory into a lasting archive.
The storage capacity afforded by the Seagate FreeAgent Pro 750GB would allow many, many voices be heard far into the future.
Sincerely,
Kim Kunkle
I would backup all of my computers.
I would let my four boys play all of those darn computer games they bought.
Gosh, what an amazing product. I would love to have this item to store all of my pictures and documents.
I would copy all my CDs.
I download tons of photos and need more space! AND I WANT TO WIN!
After being injured by a drunk driver I was no longer able to work as a Nurse. I have lots of talent and I thought maybe turning a hobby into a business would be the answer. So I've been wanting to start my own stationary business which will also market my own line of greeting cards…this hard drive would provide much needed storage for my graphics files and could be dedicated to my business use. It would be a dream come true.
I would use to to store my massive CD collection after I convert them all to mp3 files! I could play DJ from my computer!
Backup pictures
I would use it for my music and gaming habits.
I'll trash all 3.5!! What is a 3.5?
i owuld use this to back up pics and vids of my family some of whom have passed on
I would be able to backup and share all of my photos and videos.
I'd back up all my pics, videos, music, etc.
My husband has been diagnosed with a blood clot on the brain and there is nothing they can do for him.He had not saw his family in years. We told them that they need to see him and he needed to see them.June the 1st,we got together. If i win,I will fill it with the photos that we took at the reunion and give some to his family. He got to see all of them and we got tons of pictures.
I would do more with photos and I would probably finish my work alot faster.
Well, my computer is almost 5 years old. I'm pretty low on my budget. Don't get me wrong. My computer is decent. I upgraded the some specs. Right now I have a total of 40gb of space and 3gb left. I have videos of my favorite shows when I watched as a kid. That I enjoyed. That is no longer aired. I want to keep these videos for life. If I have a 750gb hard drive I would store my whole life in it. Every show, movie, photo, things that I've created..
This would be an excellent solution to my meager current storage problems. I would use the Seagate FreeAgent Pro hard drive to combine all my far flung files into one easy to access place.
I would download all the cool games I have run across that I always worried I didn't have enough room for.
I'd back up everything I've said for years that I'm going to back up but never get around to it.
I guess I should stop the risky practice of NOT backing up important files and begin to back up my important stuff starting now !!!
I would use it to combine my movies and music as well as backup any important documents I have. My current space is filling up fast, a new 750gig dive would do wonders.
Store own movies
I would use the drive as an external storage drive for all my photos. I'm an amateur photographer who also works freelance and I need a reliable storage source for my photos. I also do scrapbooking as a hobby and I could save my digital page designs on the hard drive as well.
I'd use it as a shared resource on the network so that all my family can go to one place for music, photos and videos as well as all the latest service packs for their machines instead of having to download them 4 separate times, etc.
A drive this size would allow me to keep a full backup of my drives (partitioned into HFS+ and NTFS) and give me ample room to record more of my music.
also, I'd remember what day it is
whoops.
I would use it as a place to keep all our family pictures music and files!
right now the media in my house (all together about 600 gigs of music and movies) are on four different drives attached to three different machines on two floors of the house (try to find that one song!!!!!) it would be awesome to actually consolidate all of it and have it accessible!
My private school is low on money and needs a server… If I got this I would donate it to my school so we could use it to store our work on.
I would kick into high gear with video production: I have been amassing clips of local life, family and special events for the last three years. Because of drive space, I have to be very picky about what I move from tape to disk. If I had 750GB, I could keep almost of my clips on the drive and mix-and-match them to build up some great finished work.
I would give anything to own the FreeAgent Pro Hard Drive. I DJ a lot of dances and weddings and the greatest comments I get are the vast amounts of different music I have in my collection. Unfortunately I've taken up so much space on my own hard drive and iPod that I'm still rather limited on what I can do. This hard drive will make my life worth living. And will be an amazing conversation piece as well. I'd be sure everyone knows what this is and where I got it!!
Back up downloaded comics.
Frisbees are boring nowadays. You never get cool colors like yellow and black. There's no significance placed on actually catching it. Now, if I store important files on this drive, it brings a new level of importance to a game of frisbee! Plus, with 750 GB, I could store a lot of really important files. Finally, a game of frisbee where there's a stake in dropping it. The tapered edges make it very aerodynamic. The extra base could be used to provide additional lift. The bright lights on it will give me the chance to play frisbee in the dark! Oh, the possibilities are endless!
because I've never owned an iPod and it would be great to own the current best iPod on the market, (at least until the iPhoneNano comes out)
WHAT I WILL DO IF U GIVE ME THE 750 GB DRIVE?
I WILL BLESS YOU FOR LIFE,COZ I AM PLANNING TO BUY 1 IN A COUPLE OF MONTHS.
I would revere you for this life and all eternity.
I would use it for Logic Pro… I am a beginner trying to get into the music production scene… sometimes its really hard to get anywhere when you are limited on hard drive space… I would store all my music files on this, and back up my important stuff so that I would never have to worry about losing it… it would suck to get into a year of work and lose it all because you could not afford to back it up…
I would fill it with music and movies and take it to Iraq with me this summer. We are not allocated a lot of space for personal stuff. This would be perfect.
I would use it to back up our business documents on two office computers. One has already gotten a virus this year and we lost everything. With times being slow right now we could not afford to purchase one of these.
