PayPal has announced their mobile payment service. Consumers in the US, UK and Canada can now purchase items securely on a mobile device. Similar to making a purchase on a standard website, you will now be able to visit a mobile website and checkout securely simply by clicking the PayPal button.
PayPal had originally moved in to the mobile market back in April 2006 when it first allowed people to buy, donate or send money using a SMS based service. Now with the addition of Mobile Checkout customers have a complete range of secure options to make a purchase or send money while on the go.
