Slim Sony PSP hands on

The boys at Gamespot got some alone time with the new PSP from Sony and have some first impressions. The new slimmer style was reveled at last weeks E3. Here is the thumbnail of what they found:

• Loads games faster. Thanks to doubling the internal RAM (32 to 64) the games load faster and that makes everyone happy.
• Price still $169. Sony likes this price point and sees no reason to change it.
• Weight. The slimmed down size is noticeable in heft feel. The new unit reduces weight by a 1/3rd.
• Control layout feels better. Described as “more tactile feedback and better overall feel.”
• USB charging.
• TV out port for gaming on the big screen.
• Coming September.
