Sony YouTube CameraYouTube is affecting the way electronics are made. Remember those Casio cameras with additional YouTube features? Sony has capitalized on that very same idea.

Sony will launch the Net-sharing cam (yes, that’s the actual name), which shoots video designed to be uploaded to YouTube. You may shoot straight to QVGA (@ 15fps) or VGA (@ 30fps). That’s not exactly hi-def, but YouTube compresses a lot anyway, so it won’t really matter. Video shoots straight onto Memory Stick DUOs, and software is included to throw the video straight onto YouTube, direct via camera.

Additionally, you can shoot stills with the inbuilt 5 megapixel camera, if video doesn’t quite wet your whistle. It’ll run you $200, which is quite a bit, considering most know how to convert and upload videos to the popular site.
