Sony PSP + Europe + Sky = Video on demand

Akin to the ‘jackpot’, it is very rare that I get a 3/3 when news breaks, but this time I do:
I own a PSP, I live in Europe, and I subscribe to Sky so I am excited by the news that “SKY and Sony Computer Entertainment Europe have announced the formation of a Joint Venture company to deliver on-demand entertainment content to owners of the PSP in the UK and Ireland.”
I will have to wait until 22 August when more information on the service will be announced by SCEE at Games Convention in Leipzig, Germany, but as they intend to focus exclusively on delivering video content to the PSP there will hopefully be a lot of content from day one.
The two companies are already in discussions with entertainment content providers across Europe to facilitate future introduction of the service to European PSP owners, which will be handy as I actually live in Spain, but have a UK Sky subscription linked to our home in the UK. Happy times!
