Canon has announced its first new hard disk drive camcorder where consumers can easily record and share videos at High Definition (HD) footage – Canon HG10. The HG10 has 40GB hard disk space, which offers consumers about 5.5 hours of AVCHD recording at its highest quality setting.
The HG10 has a 10x HD video lens that features SuperRange Optical Image Stabilization to help from camera shake. Other than being able to record videos, consumers can also capture 3.1 megapixel images to a miniSD card.
Besides that, HG10 also comes with a software suite from Corel which includes AVCHD editing where consumers can edit, combine scenes, or even adding music to their videos. HG10 is said to be available in October at an estimated price of $1299.
