Logitech cuts the cord on the Alto notebook stand/keyboard

Logitech just announced a wireless addition to its line of Alto notebook stands, the Logitech Alto Cordless Notebook Stand. The Cordless Alto offers a notebook display riser, a cordless keyboard and a multipurpose, three-port Hi-Speed USB hub.

The riser elevates notebook display to the optimal viewing distance. The cordless full-size keyboard, including a numeric pad and padded palm rest, make the work environment even more flexible. Finally, the USB hub adds connectivity for people’s favorite peripherals such as mice, printers, and iPods. The system currently will work with Windows XP or Vista PCs that are up to 15.4″ screen size.

The Alto Cordless is expected to be available in Europe and the U.S. beginning in September with a suggested retail price in the U.S. of $99.99.
