Will the Gphone be a rival to the current iPhone? According to Google, its Google Phone or also known as Gphone will be launched in two weeks. It appears that Gphone will be launched in U.S and Europe while Google is still in talk with a few India’s leading mobile phone carriers. Google has invested millions in its Gphone and users can expect to have all Google features and applications such as search engine, maps and emails. All in all, Google is making Gphone an Internet-friendly handset. Just stay tuned for the official launch of the Gphone.

I'm pretty sure the arrival of Google's gPhone will shake the wireless industry even more than the arrival of Apple's iPhone did.
I posted a few thoughts on Google's most likely business approach here ( http://hjalli.com/?p=281 ) – and it looks to me like the wireless operators might experience some turbulence in the next months
I believe that this will only serve a use for those that are business orientated are are glued to the Internet.
I think google could improve their variety range of their target audience by adding more options. To me and maybe just to me it seems like a version of the iPod except for fogies.
