Rumor: Sprint to launch Blackberry Pearl 2 on Thansgiving weekend

sprint blackberry pearl 2The Boy Genius is reporting that the Blackberry Pearl 2 will be launched with Sprint on Thanksgiving Day weekend, which means a push back of a few weeks from the original date of November 4 that we heard. The Pearl 2 is expected to have integrated GPS and a new media player but still be without Wi-Fi. Officially known as the Blackberry 8130, the Pearl 2 will make it debut first on AT&T and Vodaphone in September.

It would have been nice to see Wi-Fi included with the Pearl 2, but the GPS will be a nice addition to the current Pearl features.
