At the IFA there have been many new unveiling’s, some very exciting and some not so exciting. The Cowon iAudio U5 player is a pretty good device if you want a nice and simple player.
The U5 features a slim design, like most DAP’s and PMP’s, a 1.8 inch TFT screen, supports various formats including MP3 and WMA, sports an FM tuner, and a voice recorder. Additionally, it comes with a 20 hour battery life when playing music, comes in three different flash models including 2, 4, and 8GB. However, since it’s a DAP, it doesn’t support video playback, but it still seems to be a nice and simple player.
Unfortunately for those of you excited by this new device, there hasn’t been any word as to the costs or availability on the U5.
