Palm teases the Europeans

“The new Palm smartphone. The word is, it’s great for email, mobile internet, instant messaging, text and – with a full keyboard – saying what you really mean… Sign up now and you’ll be the first to know all about the latest cool phone from Palm on 12th September 2007.”

Could this be the Centro that has been muted for a while now? If you are in the UK, Netherlands. Italy or Germany (which is a strange and narrow mix – think T Mobile?) you can register to enter a competition to win a new smartphone.

This is definately an interesting way to launch “the new Palm smartphone”, especially since we were told the Centro would launch on Sprint first. Stay tuned.
