World’s Smallest DRAM

Samsung is claiming that there new 60mm 2GB DDR2 DRAM chip is the smallest in the world, although whether that remains by the time this hits full production is anyones guess. In the rapidly moving world of chips and RAM it hard to predict what will be around in a months time.

This speedy little sucker is capable of processing the equivalent of up to eight months newspaper text per second. Small, lighter, faster; throw in cheaper and Samsung will become one of our favorite tech companies.
