One of the many Dell products

Dell plans to boost company sales by expanding their retail stores, next stop, Moscow. More specifically, it will open on the second floor in the Gorbuskin Dvor retail center.

This new store is set to feature a wide variety of what dell has to offer: notebooks, desktops, servers , printers and other electronics. The store will also sell Dell Vostro products and servers designed for small businesses. Additionally, the store will be managed by a company called Nexus, which is a partner of Dell.

Michael Dell, chairmen and CEO of Dell, had this to say

“Russia’s rapidly growing computer market is reflected by the 800% growth in the number of internet users over the past 7 years to approximately 28 million”.

“Dell is making additional investments in its business in Russia – both products and services – to meet the growing needs of the country’s IT market, which is expected to double over the next four years.”

One interesting fact is that this store marks only the second Dell-only store in Europe and the first in Russia. For all our Russian Moscow readers who like Dell products, I’m sure you all will be happy to know that this store will open in early October.
