Xbox 360 Upgrades to HD DVD in 2008

Here is some news that Sony’s Playstation Team probably didn’t want to hear, but the rest of the gaming world will rejoice in. Based on comments made by Mark Bennett, MS’s European business development director for HD DVD, it looks like we can expect the Xbox 360 to ship with a HD DVD drive, ‘sometime’ next year.

It what was surely a further twist of the knife in Sony’s direction he added:

the interactive features actually work on HD DVD whereas Blu-ray titles are six to nine months away from getting features that actually work.
