Kubricks are the cult toys from Medicom that have become increasingly popular recently. The addition of the $96 Star Wars classics from Episodes I – III is bound to enhance their popularity.
Featuring Qui-Gon Jinn, naked C-3PO, and Anakin Skywalker amongst others, they are bound to be a success, as pretty much any toy that features Star Wars seems to be. Now this may well be a sign of my age, but neither the price nor the quality of these toys gets anywhere close to what I used to get as a kid. Now that could mean:
- I am getting bitter and resentful in my old age, or
- Kids of today are getting spoiled rotten, or
- These are really aimed at adults
To be honest it is probably all three, but regardless I like this and I want one!
