The mobile version of Gmail has been updated and now includes more features that have been available in the regular desktop version. Users now have the option to choose from an AJAX or AJAX-free version. The mobile version now also includes the ability to configure the links to some of your labels and add other views like Spam or Drafts. Also (similar to the desktop version) there are checkboxes to the left of the message that let you set all messages to archive, delete, report as spam, add a label, star or mark as read.
Gmail has only been getting better and better for the mobile browser. Personally I prefer to be able to check my mail with POP access and lose the mobile web but its nice to see Gmail being improved for all mobile phones, even those without the ability to have POP email.
