In another effort to keep your Wiimote from slipping out of your hands and breaking your television, Nintendo has begun offering free Wiimote sleeves. I would have thought people would have that under control by now, but I suppose there are always new users coming.
You are required to enter your Wii’s serial number but you can request up to 4 sleeves. Nintendo has sold over 10 million Wii consoles worldwide, meaning this free giveaway is going to cost Nintendo around $17.2 million. New Wii consoles and Wiimotes are also expected to begin shipping with the sleeves.
You can get your free Nintendo Wiimote sleeve by calling Nintendo at 1-866-431-8367 or by visiting Nintendo.com.
