Intellinav 3

PCMag recently reviewed the new Intellinav 3 and the verdict was that the device is good for GPS but doesn’t work very well with music or photos. Here’s what the fancy sat nav system has to offer.

It starts off with a 3.5-inch screen, however it doesn’t support Bluetooth, which many GPS’ today support. It comes with 2GB memory which can be used to store music and photos. Unfortunately playlists aren’t supported for the music part of the system, and your only options are repeat or random/shuffle. Also, it only supports MP3 format for audio. For photos, it only supports JPEG and can view photos individually or as a slideshow.

Since Intellinav is really just a GPS, the basic GPS features in the Intellinav are above average. It boasts a large POI database, pronounces street names clearly, you can hear it clearly without straining your ears, allows for multi-stop trips, and provides good directions and maps. The maps are from Navteq and the Intellinav 3 costs 330 dollars.
