In the GPS department, there aren’t too many good GPS’ available for those who ride a motorcycle. However, XRoad’s new RM-A4000 aims to help motorcycle riders in need of a good solid GPS.
A few notable features of the RM-A4000 are a 3.5-inch LCD screen, 64MB of internal memory, SD memory card slot with expandable memory up to 2GB, MP3 and WMA audio format support, MP4 video support, and a Carpoint GPS receiver. Additionally, it features a joystick on the side of the device to navigate through menus and comes with Bluetooth support.
No word on when it’s going to be released, however, it is set to cost $596.

Any designer who puts a joystick on a GPS designed to be used on a motorcycle has never ridden a motorcycle. It's diffictult enough using buttons and a touch screen while riding so a joystick would be totally useless unless you stop each time you need to change routing or search for lodging or the nearest gas station.
Hey, great but it is a bit expensive. Hopefully this is just the beginning of bike units, and will drive the price down. Until then I'll just keep my handheld strapped on.
