Sony recently added to their GPS NV series in Japan by adding the NV-U2. The NV-U2 is similar to the NV-U1, yet packs a few neat goodies that the older U1 does not.
The NV-U2 is a lot thinner than the NV-U1, measuring in at just 20 millimeters! Additionally, the new GPS chip is much better than the other one – a G Position Plus. It also boasts a 4.8-inch touchscreen display with 480×272 pixel resolution. Lastly, it supports both music and audio, but doesn’t list specifics on types of formats. This GPS is probably a good one for those in Japan, however, no word on pricing has been announced. Reports are that the NV-U2 is not expected to come Stateside.
