Microsoft has reported quarterly earnings of $4.29 billion. An increase of 23% from the same quarter last year, the higher earnings are being based on increased demand for the Xbox 360 thanks to release of Halo 3, the Zune and a “robust demand” for Vista.
“This fiscal year is off to an outstanding start with the fastest revenue growth of any first quarter since 1999,” said Microsoft’s chief financial officer Chris Liddell in a statement.
Whether you love or hate Microsoft, regardless of your thoughts on Vista or the Zune, its hard to deny that Microsoft is a solid company.
