I don’t really care too much about the kind of toothbrush I use. As long as it keeps me from getting cavities, I’m happy. Just in case you’re one of those people who really want the best types of toothbrushes available, then this new one, dubbed FlexCare, is for you. You may or may not have heard of Sonicare, but it is a pretty popular electric toothbrush and it’s not too bad, but the FlexCare is the latest model and it is a whole lot better.
To begin with, the handle and toothbrush heads are smaller, making it easier to reach far back into the mouth and clean it. The brushheads don’t vibrate anymore, so this way when it comes time to replace them, they shouldn’t cost too much. The vibration is in the handle meaning all of the toothpaste gunk won’t stay at the top handle. One of the cool new features about this toothbrush is that it comes with a UV Sanitizer light. This way, your toothbrush will remain clean and sanitary.
The battery in the FlexCare is also pretty nice, as Philips claims it’s 77% more efficient than other electric toothbrushes. It also comes with a massage mode, although the guys at Boing Boing who tired it out didn’t like it too much and they said that their “teeth were going to turn to powder.”
Otherwise, this toothbrush looks to be a real winner all except for that little problem and it’s price. 180 bucks is kind of a lot for the toothbrush, but if you’re looking for a good quality toothbrush, than the FlexCare is the one for you.
