Alpine ex-10 with remote

Alpine is delighting us with their new device, the eX-10, which features a 2.4” full-color screen (dash mountable) and the ability to connect to an iPod and also make hands-free calls via Bluetooth. Installation is as simple as sticking the device on your dash (with the provided suction cups), connecting it to your car’s cigarette lighter and clipping the mic to the car’s visor. From there, you can pair up to 4 phones (A2DP support) and connect your iPod. Controlling the device is done via a remote (I would’ve like the device to have a touchscreen) and you’ll be able to navigate your collection of 80′s music the same ways its done on your iPod, using albums, playlists, artists, etc.

It also features a built-in FM transmitter, but we all know they don’t work very well, so you might as well get the thing installed professionally to take advantage of the 3.5 mm output jack. The eX-10 will set you back $199 and should be available in a couple of weeks.
