Sony Think Green Recycling Program

Sony has begun offering a $100 coupon to consumers who trade in their old Sony television. The $100 credit will be able to be used towards the purchase of a new Bravia HD television and can be used at Sony Style retail locations or online at To claim your coupon simply bring your old television to any of the 79 Waste Management eCycling centers across the U.S., the offer is valid until March 15, 2008.

This new program builds upon Sony’s existing Take Back Recycling Program, and will help you get rid of that old TV that you have sitting around. In addition to recycling your Sony brand television, you can also bring other brands as well, however those will be subject to a $25-$50 recycling fee. Not as good an offer as bringing in a Sony brand but still a good way to safely dispose of your e-waste.
