HTC ships 1 million Touch smartphones in 5 months

HTC has shipped 1 million Touch smartphones in just 5 months. The Windows Mobile 6 Professional, TouchFLO based phone was first released in June 2007 and hit the 1 million mark as of the end of October.
HTC also expect their HTC Touch lineup to ship between 1.5-1.8 million smartphones before the end of 2007. The complete lineup includes the Touch, Touch Dual and the recently announced Touch Cruise.
Not quite as quick as Apple and the iPhone, where they hit the 1 million mark in just over two months but the Touch has still been sold at a very impressive rate.
