AT&T has already officially announced the BlackJack II, however they left us with an availability of “by the end of the year.” It now looks like we will be seeing the release this Friday, of course the release will not come with the typical Black Friday savings but its still a nice day to be available.
The Samsung SGH-i617 will be running Windows Mobile 6 and feature an integrated GPS, Bluetooth 2.0, 2-megapixel camera with video recording, 2.4-inch display and a QWERTY keyboard with front jog wheel. It is expected to be available in black or red wine and retail for $149.99. Overall a nice improvement over the current BlackJack, now if AT&T would just release the Windows Mobile 6 update for current BlackJack users everyone would be happy.
