Alltel has announced the upcoming availability of the BlackBerry 8130, which is still listed as “coming soon” but will be here in time for the holiday season. The 8130 Pearl will feature GPS, a 2-megapixel camera, media player, a 3.5mm jack, Bluetooth, voice recognition, trackball navigation, SureType keyboard and a externally accessible SDHC memory card slot.
Alltel will offer the 8130 Pearl for $149.99 after a $100 mail-in-rebate along with a 2-year agreement. Customers who are on a “qualifying calling plan” will also be able to receive “My Circle” which allows for free calls to any 10 numbers.
