Dell has announced plans to begin offering their notebook and desktop PC’s in France, Spain and Belgium. Beginning in January 2008 Dell will allow Carrefour to begin selling at 365 of their retail locations.
In addition to the deal with Carrefour, Dell is also in talks with other large retailers to include Wal-Mart, Staples in the US as well as Bic Camera Stores in Japan and Gome in China. It looks like Dell has finally given up on the direct-sales only plan of attack.
