  1. As a blogger, I need to stay connected always and to be able to post on my blog at any time, even when on the go. A laptop cannot be carried everywhere. This however can.

  2. When I want to make on the fly notes of ideas for my writing – I can't lug a laptop with me everywhere – this would be ideal!

  8. I want to use the Nokia N800 in those little bars and coffee shops with free WiFi but little round tables that your widescreen laptop computer won't fit on let alone leave room to put your double-shot espresso a-la panna. In a pinch without WiFi I can pair it with my Nokia 9300 via BlueTooth and get Internet access through the phone's GSM/GPRS without even taking it out of my pocket!

  9. I'd use its web browser to control my house via X10 hardware! Also, with the Rhapsody client, it could act as a portable whole-house audio system. Just have a dock in the rooms in which you want music, and move it around.

  10. I'd use it at the mall while my girlfriend is shopping. Man!, I hope I win this thing. Shopping sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  11. (I have a laptop)I have been looking at the Nokia internet tablet line for several months & it would be perfect for what I want, which is a pc I can put in my backpack or purse and take it with me where ever I go. Whether I need a resterant review, product review, the cheapest gas, radar, news or a game to kill time in a waiting room, I would always have it with me – the same way I always have my wallet and ID. As such I wouldn't have to worry about leaving it anywhere it wouldn't be feasible to take a laptop. Example – friends & I are shopping together & decide to go to the movies, so I whip out my trusty internet tablet & check reviews and times on the spot. or another national event takes place & everyone wants news now but we aren't able to leave work, I'm johnny on the spot with my internet tablet or – I am trying to find an address and I take my tablet out and get direction. Telling you what I would do with it isn't hard. What would be hard is telling you what I couldn't do with it!

  12. I would like to connect to the Internet while: traveling, taking a bath, fishing, at the park, sitting on the porch.

    Ed Grant
  13. I would use it when I an traveling. I am a college student and always need a way to stay connected to my groups.

    Jean
  14. I'd use it to check email and surf the web while watching my 4 year old son at the playground: anything to get some adult interaction during my tenure as a stay-at-home dad. It would also be a lifesaver during wait times – I could stream his favorite cartoons via orbnetworks.com. No more whining!

  15. Aside from the fact that the n800 really is FAR more portable then your average laptop, it is great for making skype calls! (I plan to ditch my cell phone and go 100% skype).

    Owen
  16. I would use this device to feed my information addiction all the time, but especially traveling, specifically I'd use it to upload photos and blog on the go while I am traveling in the outdoors and wildernesses of the world!

    Sam Jackson
  17. I'd use it for travel information when in the car

    Michael Robins
  18. While i ride BART or CalTrain in the SF Bay-Area…no better way to pass some time and/or stay productive

    David Wendland
  19. He he he!! ON SET. You cannot imagine the hours of WAIT WAIT WAIT this beauty would chew up productively for a background extra. Most sets have at least one open wi-fi.

    Robert McFair
  20. I'm looking for a wifi phone for travel overseas. I like the wifi sip idea buy why get just a "wifi phone" when it could be a PDA-ish.

    Erik Turner
  21. I would most likely use it when I'm in a restaurant or at the movies.

    Lesha
  22. at the airport on the go

    robert skeen
  23. At school during tests. My teacher always notices when I duck down behind my desk to quickly look up things on my laptop.

    Jeremy Jones
  24. Restaurant/coffehouse

  25. I always want a internet Tablet. I was actually considering about getting n Nokia N770 for the holiday, but was low on budget due to the school tuition. It would be a great use for traveling, since I travel to Europe and Asia quite often. It's more portable than a laptop because it's so small and very convenient when you're on the road most of your day. Thank you.

    Vireak Ath
  26. It would be easier to bring the N800 to a restaurant with free wifi to do a quick check of RSS feeds for example, instead of lugging a laptop there.

    Scott
  27. At a movie theater right before the movie comes on so I can check out my email. (Don't worry I wouldn't use it DURING the movie.)

    Jaxim
  28. I really want one of these but I never can afford one. I really do want one though.

    Evan
  29. In hotels overseas to access the web via wifi and to call back to the states via Skype or Gizmo Project. Would really like to win this.

    DMS
  30. great prize for bloggers.
    I sure could use it.

    Timothy Selig
  31. I would use it just about everywhere. I would mostly use it to check prices online shop when shopping at a store. It's the worst feeling to know that I missed out on a great deal!

    Shams
  32. I would like to take it with me to the Coachella Music Festival, or any other outdoor venue I frequently attend. Most of these trips are far from home, and are outdoors because of the amount of people attending. It would ROCK to own one of these next time I go. There are times when you are sitting around waiting for one of your bands to play, bored and in the hot sun. My friends would envy that I could network, play games, watch videos, etc.. while they watch the clock slowly move along. Then, what I would be most excited about would be that this Nokia N800 has a live webcam built in it. When one of my favorite artists plays, I can record the performance, and even stream it for my friends that couldn't be there in person. Can you imagine doing all of that with a laptop?? Hehe yeah right! Lugging it around, manuevering through the crowd, in Palm Spring's 113 degree heat? I think NOT!! N800 by Nokia, quite a clever idea!!!!

    Jesse
  33. In the car, on a road trip, sitting passenger. Never liked the idea of a laptop in the car. It becomes inconveniently bulky, and if you don't have the right adapter, it wont charge. If it doesn't die before you have reached your destination, you will have surely set it aside. Due to the fact of 3rd degree burns you may incur as it rests in your lap. Either way you're annoyed. I'll choose the Nokia.

    Valerie Castaneda
  34. In the bathroom, I think it would be much more entertaining than a magazine or a newspaper!

    Jennifer
  35. I would use this everywhere, travel, school, etc. It is difficult for me to carry a laptop with me everywhere. My crutches make it difficult, at school I use there computers to send my homework notes to my home computer. I'd like to be able to sit in the cafe and do my research or while travelling to new place. It would be so very nice.

    Laura S
  36. I want to use it for live audio performances (after writing software for it).

    Shayne
  37. I would use it for mobile training. We travel place to place and lugging a laptop to do what this could is ridiculous.

    Michael
  38. THIS WOULD BE ALL FOR ME!! hahah. I don't have a lap top, or even wireless internet for that matter to be checking email and with me doing ebay this would be the ultimate MOM present that I know no one will get me anyway!! Last time we traveled I was like getting the computer shakes because I couldn't check my email and this is the cheapest way for me to keep in contact with the kids and grandkids. Even if I don't win it I have to THANK YOU NOKIA for making a product that wouldnt sit in one spot for long collecting dust, this is an o the go with MOM gadget.

    Debbie Munoz
  39. This would be a chance to be able to train people on the go!! Especially senior citizens who don't really understand how the internet with email really works. It would be just the right training tool to show them especially if I'm in a place where I don't have enough time to open up my notebook and give them the proper walk through of how I'm trying to explain the internet or how to get to certain websites. Thanks Nokia for making this product possible!!

    Margaret

  41. Anywhere. I dont have a laptop, so having a good internet device with me would be great. I dont need to check often, but a quick email check now and then is always nice.

    Adam
  42. I could use this anywhere and not have to take my laptop everywhere I go when all I have to do is grab the internet tablet and take it with me and check e-mail on the go and see what the weather is going to be like so I would be prepared.

    Nikki
  43. I'm disabled with osteo-arthritis in my back and also by fibromyalgia. There are days when I just can't sit at the computer, even if it is a laptop! This would allow me to go online and communicate with friends while laying down. What a treat that would be!

    EscondidoGirl
  44. This would be a great device to surf the web while i`m getting ready to go to bed and am all ready tucked in. Sometimes I wake up and have to check my email, but I either have to go to my pc in the living room or use a laptop and both of those options can disturb my wifes sleep.

    Please pick me!

    Gregory R
  45. I wish I wish have what I need(want)
I have heard its superb for staying connected.

    German Moreno
  46. I'd use this to stay connected anywhere, especially during travelling (think bus, train, cab) where a laptop would be too bulky to handle.
    I'd be connected anywhere!

    Hsin Jen
  47. This would allow me to connect to the web at all time. I have been looking into this for quite a while now but was never able to afford it. I wanted one so it allows me to connect to everything I need even when I don't have my laptop with me.

    Jennifer
  48. I'm a fantasy football addict, so the N800 would help me keep track of my fantasy football team on the go! During the offseason, I would also use it to check traffic, weather, movie listings, and restaurant reviews without lugging a big laptop.

    NJT
  49. I would like an n800 to bring around for comparison shopping. Most stores offer free wifi and this device would be perfect to bring around and look up prices on the go. You would know within a few clicks if you are getting the best deal or not.

    Jason
  50. I would definitely use this in between my college class to check up on emails and whenever I don't have access to my computer.

    jasen
  51. I would use it at when out in places like panera and applebees with friends… that way I would not have to bulk the table with a laptop…

    Joshua Dwight
  52. I'd like to be able to use this at a coffeehouse while sipping a latte.

    Carol
