Google Docs and Spreadsheets looks to be on the uptick according to a tracking by compete.com, 84% year to year in fact. What is interesting is that those that use one of Googles Apps (Docs or Spreadsheet) seems to also use the other, as opposed to someone just using Docs. Compete goes on to compare the length of time spent in both Docs and Spreadsheet which supports savvy users are checking out both parts.
As a user of both, I recently put up a Christmas list and shared it with family who can remove the things they bought, thus avoiding duplicates. Handy and free. For me, Google’s applications are handy and much less formal then sending a Word Doc.
