How much is that AIBO in the window?

Rumor has it that Sony is about to resurrect it’s AIBO line of robotic pets. This time there may some bark to go along with it’s animatronic bite. After the killing of the AIBO last year, there seemed little interest in the old robotic pooch. However, Sony engineers seem to have found some new ways to make him fresh again. A new sleek design, interface ability with the PSP and PS3 and a more refined personality just might be enough to bring this super-niche product some mainstream success.

Also, the rumor mill suggests that the AIBO will be able to be programed to protect your house. However, if you’re the unfortunate victim of a burglary, you can rest assured that the criminal will most likely take your expensive robot dog too.
