Nokia has announced the SU-27W, a digital Bluetooth enabled pen. The SU-27W will offer up to three hours of writing, drawing or doodling with internal 1.3MB memory that will capture your work. The pen requires a “digital paper” that will capture the pens movement and then translate the movement into a digital format. Once you have all your ideas down on “paper” you will be able to transfer them to a Bluetooth equipped phone or even a PC using the USB connection. After they are on your phone or PC, they can easily be shared using email.
The Nokia SU-27W will be available in Japan on December 20, 2007 and will retail for ¥28,140 (around $250 US), and as you may have guessed there was not any mention of a US release.
