Audio-technica LP to digital turntable

If you love vinyl records as much as I do, you’ll want to take note of the display of the new AT-LP2D-USB by Audio-Technica at CES. Designed for both PC and Mac, the unit works equally well with 45s and 33 1/3rd speeds. You might remember the other vinyl to digital solutions I’ve written about before.

The LP2D features a quality aluminum platter, audiophile-happy replaceable stylus. And because it is built by a company that has a clue:

“Its built-in switchable phono preamp, RCA output cables and adapter cables allow connection to a wide variety of music and home entertainment systems, and to A/V receivers that do not include a dedicated phono input.”

Offered with advanced Mac and PC software to help you take the hiss and pop out, the unit is available now for just $229.
