Norcent intros new 10-megapixel camera for CES

Norcent DCS-1050

Norcent all of a sudden has decided to release a lot of new information regarding what they have in store for us come CES. Recently, they announced the arrival of a 42 inch HDTV as well as other LCD screens.

Basically, the new DCS-1050 – which is a member of the 50 series, boasts 10-megapixels, a 3 inch LCD screen, that is scratch resistant, as well as face detection software and anti-shake technology. Additionally, it comes with 3x optical zoom, red-eye reduction technology, and 22 scene modes. Some other cool features include voice recording, 16MB of internal memory – which can be expanded via SD/MMC memory cards. Lastly, it comes with an MPEG-4 video recording mode which allows you to record videos in that format with resolutions up to 640×480.

No word on availability as of yet, but it will cost $179.99, and you can check out this camera at their booth during CES.
