diNovo Mini

Emerging from the rumblings from the day past is Logitech, announcing their new diNovo mini keyboard. The handheld keyboard, which interfaces wirelessly over Bluetooth, is great for those who have hooked up their PCs to their TV. Thanks to the use of Bluetooth, the keyboard can be used from around 30 feet away.

The flip-open styled device features a keyboard, with a dedicated Windows Media Center button. Also in the mix of keys are a row of media controls; play, pause, stop, fast forward, and rewind. Page up and page down keys are prominent, and used for scrolling through web pages and changing channels while watch TV in Media Center. Finally, the device is the dual purpose ClickPad. The round pad can be used as a regular touch pad, similar to those you would find on a regular laptop, but can also be used as a media remote. When the pad is lit orange, it is in touchpad mode; when it is green, it is in media remote mode.

The keyboard runs on rechargeable Li-on batteries that are said to last one month, though your mileage may vary.

The diNovo Mini keyboard should drop late this month, for an MSRP of $149.99.
