The Vizio “Envy” series are getting a couple of new additions, the VU32L-32-inch and the VU37L-37-inch. They both feature 720p and new side access high definition gaming ports which include HDMI. They will cost $699 and $899 respectively, although final launch plans have yet to be confirmed.
The target market for the “Envy” is the style-conscious consumer with pride of place in the range going to the VU42LF, 1080p Full High-Definition television which costs $1399. The market they are targeting is arguably the toughest around, the middle ground that everyone is fighting over, so you would expect feature rich offerings. They do not disappoint:
Two HDMI ports
Composite and component video
S- Video, RF and RGB connections
Standard/HDTV/QAM combination tuner
All models have the ability to be floor standing or wall mounted and emit 10 watts per channel through the built-in speakers.
