Yahoo! Connected Life executive vice president Marco Boerries touts this revamped version as a game-changing mobile development. Gathering feedbacks from ardent users of Yahoo! Go 2.0, the team has focused on providing more choices and better control to enhance the overall mobile experience.
The output includes a new intuitive user interface and third party widgets to deliver customizable access to favorite sites. Using the so-called “home widget” as starting point, it provides users at-a-glance update on their e-mail, calendar, news feeds, weather updates and photos shared by friends through Flickr.
The mobile widget platform enables third party developers such as eBay, MySpace and MTV to extend their contents to millions of Yahoo! Go users. However, this beta version is available only on more than 30 devices available in the market. To download this service, visit http://go.yahoo.com.
