We had the chance to get our hands on iriver’s new unlocked GSM phone at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. The phone sports their D Touch system, WiFi, MP4 player, Real Rhapsody integration, Video playback, photo playback, FM Tuner, Flash Lite, GPS (optional) and a 3-inch TFT LCD at 480×272 resolution. There hasn’t ben any real price discussed at this time, but they have mentioned that it will release for “less than the iPhone.” It will be available in the U.S. market by the end of 2008, and as you can see in the video by the “Under Construction” screen I came across, it’s currently in product development testing. More to come as this baby gets closer to release.
