After announcing that nice W7 during CES, iriver has decided to announce a tiny, plain MP3 player. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not that bad of a player, but you know I expected something a little more unique or interesting after the W7.
The new player announced by iriver is the Siren DP150. It comes in 3 different colors, pink, blue, and yellow/gold. It comes in 2 different models, either 1GB or 2GB. It also features an OLED display and charges via USB. The Siren will cost $65 for the 1GB model and $84 for the 2GB model. It will go on sale February 1, 2008 in the Japanese market, now word if or when it will venture out to other areas.
