A nice refreshing handset announcement, considering all the recent shades of pink and red that have been coming on the market, its nice to see an existing model go black.
Sony Ericsson has added a new “Black Champagne” color for their existing W380i, which adds to the current colors of “Electric Purple” and “Magnetic Grey.” The newly colored Walkman clamshell retains the original features of the W380i which include the gesture control, and external display that appears and disappears based on use. The “Black Champagne” W380i is not currently in stores yet, but we would expect that to change shortly.

Agree with the point about too many different colours being released. Black phones are sleek and cool. Any other colour (especially god, yuk) I think is way too tacky.
