Alltel officially adds the LG Glimmer

The LG Glimmer is now available with Alltel, in an announcement that does not come as much of a surprise, we saw the leaked advertisement and then LG themselves pre-announced that the handset would be coming to Alltel.
Well Alltel customers and potential customers alike will now officially have the LG Glimmer to choose from. As expected the Glimmer is a slider style phone with a slide-out keyboard and features a touchscreen display, 2-megapixel camera with video capability, MP3 player, 128MB of internal storage with a microSD card slot, Bluetooth, speakerphone and is GPS-capable.
The LG Glimmer is available beginning today and is retailing for $249.99 after a $100 mail-in-rebate along with a two-year agreement.
