It was not much of a surprise that the Samsung Muse was coming to Alltel, more just a matter of when, and now that can be answered, its available beginning today.
The Samsung Muse is music friendly flip-style handset with a dedicated music key offering quick access to the MP3 player and all your music. The handset itself is limited to just 64MB of internal memory but has a microSD slot for additional storage. In addition to the music features the Muse also has a 2-megapixel camera with video, speakerphone, and access to Alltel’s Axcess TV, GPS-based Axcess Mobile Guide, Voice2TXT and XM Radio Mobile.
The Samsung Muse, in midnight blue with it’s “sleek, slim design” is currently available and retailing for $89.99 which comes after a $50 mail in rebate along with a two-year agreement.

I just got this phone the other day, and so far it is alright. I would say 7/10. The music player is nice the touch pad in front is cool. The Camera is pretty high def. compared to my old phone. The max resolution goes to 1600×1200. I can’t ext as fast because of the T9word it makes you scroll though the word you want with the soft pad, other than pushing 0 to scroll through them. It is nice though how you can add words to the database. I have not had any problems yet with this phone. All of the base ring tones and sounds are horrible and they will make you buy them. you CAN NOT use sounds you recorded as ring tones or text tones when you receive texts. That was a big downside for it to me. I suggest getting a case unless you like wiping fingerprints off all the time.
