More than a week ago, YouTube had become inaccessible in China after videos of a Tibetan protest were posted which reportedly irked the Chinese government. Good news for our Chinese friends, YouTube is accessible once more!

There was no official announcement from YouTube about the unblocking but William Long of Moonlight Blog noticed that the popular online video-sharing site was accessible from his Internet connection in China. Up to now, Chinese Internet regulators have not given out an official explanation as to why they blocked YouTube but it’s a good thing that the Chinese can wallow once again in endless and mind numbing video surfing. However, some special videos are still not accessible.

I think now is the best time for people in China make the most of their YouTube access, just in case it disappears again.
